Suzuki Method Legacy
A new layer to the Suzuki Triangle, which involves the next generation. This presentation will outline the philosophy and influences, how the method crossed (and continues to cross) borders, and feature students who grew up with the Method.

Suzuki International Flute Ensemble
The ensemble will perform a charming “mashup” of Mary Had a Little Lamb and Dvorak's New World Symphony arranged and conducted by Noelle Perrin-Bryson.

The 51st NFA Convention will take place August 3-6, 2023 in Phoenix, AZ.

Submit a nomination for the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award or Distinguished Service Award today!
The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to a flutist or flute maker, composer, or author who has shown a profound commitment to music and a dedication to the flute community. The honoree’s achievements must have inspired and contributed to the advancement and knowledge of the flute and flute playing. Begin a nomination here. The Distinguished Service Award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated profound, dedicated service and commitment to the National Flute Association. Begin a nomination here

Submit a Fall 2023 Online Event Proposal
We are now accepting applications for Fall 2023 online events! NFA members are eligible to submit proposals for 60 minute virtual sessions now through June 15, 2023.  These sessions are for the shared exploration of a specific topic or a participatory playing experience. Sessions may consist of one of the following:
Demonstration of an approach or technique
  • Exploration of a topic of interest to the field
  • Play-along sessions with remote participation by attendees
  • Accepted formats for sessions include panel discussions with Q&A, workshops or masterclasses, or play-alongs. Submit your proposal today!
